I think my clothes dryer ate my wedding band, where and how can I look to see if it did, when I went to re-connect the dryer vent I tipped the dryer and heard something slide inside the unit, I am hoping its my ring, the last time I had my ring i was splitting wood and slipped it in my change pocket and the rest is history.

yup, then check all over, hopefully it's your ring and NOT a loose screw you are hearing! did you roll the drum by hand yet? check the lint trap too if it's the front of the door style.

Normally, it's the FRONT panel you remove to gain access to the inside of the dryer. They make them that way so that the dryer can be serviced without pulling it away from the wall.

How you remove the front panel varies from make to make and from model to model.
