Long as you are giving out great info on wood finishes-
Are you familiar with a wipe on finish restorer called Aulwood?
I have used it like a polish on trim and doors,cabs etc. I have also seen it used on painted finishes to even out the sheen. But what it actually is I have no idea.
And if it leaves a film that needs to be cleaned off before any refinishing -recoating , or is good to go with normal prep is another q.
It's interesting stuff- very easy to use.

Can't say I've ever heard of it - and since you brought it up, I tried an internet search and can find out about the company, but very little about their products. And when at DesignBiz website, I'm then directed to the Aulwood Polishes website which, of course, is just a blank page. Sounds like an interesting product, though.

I have also tried to find out more through their site- seems to be very secretive.
I don't know of another product quite like it. it is kind of a polish, kind of a finish.
I've tried tinting it, but Uni tints don't dissolve in it, although it def has a oil/ spirit base.
