Square footage has nothing to do with electrical pricing. I have installed almost $2k worth of lighting alone in a kitchen that was less than 400 square foot.

Any prices and square footages are meaningless without knowing what was installed and the qualities of materials, the conditions on the job site and many others. Installing a chandelier on an 8' ceiling and a 20' ceiling are the same labor until you add in the cost of scaffolding rental, setup and the extra time to climb up and down and then breakdown the scaffolding. Square footage can be the same but the cost could be 3-4x for the high ceiling.

There are just too many variables involved. Your question is like asking how much it will cost to buy a car. Should I pick 5 cars at random and find the average price? Would this be valid if I chose 4 Veyrons and a Hugo? I was trying to point out the fallicy that a spreadsheet can solve everything.
