Hello,

I have a chandelier with 8 e12 sockets, all rated at 75 watt, that I would like to convert to e26. For height reasons I do not want to use an adapter and I plan to use all low watt e26 LED lights.

Can this be done and is there any safety issues?

Thanks in advance.

The change from E12 to E26 will invalidate the fixtures UL listing.

In my opinion, the larger sockets and the proportionally larger bulbs will make many of the E12 chandeliers out there look like crap.
