I am going to install the reverse osmosis unit under the sink soon, it comes with a bladder tank so it is enough to pressurize the icemaker.
The problem is running to the refrigerator which is 6-8 ft of cabinets in the way. I plan to drill some holes on the back of the cabinets and run 1/4" plastic line through.
There is a shut off valve behind the refrigerator but I plan to not use that. I don't see why I should use tap water for my icemaker / dispenser when I already have a better quality water.
I thought about running the RO off the icemaker supply valve but then I needed to run a drain back to the sink too, so more or less the same issue.
