Several manufactures of these, all at pretty steep prices. Anyone have experience/knowledge/opinion about any brand or the idea in general?
Also, anyone have info or links to how one might build their own from maybe roller shade parts. I could see doing that but have no idea what to use to trap and hold the screening edges. Want these for old wooden double hung and casement windows. Thanks

I have installed some, and ended up replacing them with conventional screens. They don't stay in the tracks. Kids, pets, sometimes even just the wind will get the screen out of the track, and it is an annoyance to get it back in the track. They seem like a good idea, but the execution is still not quite right.

Thanks Bill, I wondered about how well the screens stayed in their tracks. Do you remember the brand you had?
Thanks, Mike
