Hi all,
I was challenged by a problem at my house this weekend. I have a retractable solar shade on a bedroom window that is manually raised and lowered via a flat strap on the inside wall. The strap broke, and the spring-loaded strap keeper at the bottom, on the inside of the house, seems cheaply made the spring is also not working right.
Problem is, the place that installed it is out of business and I can't find a place online that has replacement parts. Anybody seen one of these, and how to replace it? (attached 2 photos of the spring-loaded keeper and strap)
