We are building a detached garage on our property and had to bring in a lot of road base to get it leveled at the back end. The dirt pile is about 4 ft at the back end. What would be the best cost-effective retaining wall system here?

Id like to do stone, maybe the interlocking blocks or a boulder type wall with the smaller rocks throughout

I am going to get some bids from landscapers but wanted to get some ideas before talking with them.

Ayuh,.... At that grade, cover it with top dirt, 'n seed it with grass,....

It won't go anywhere, no need for a wall,.....
