The the thermostat upstairs is set for 86 (not up there a lot) thermostat reads 96; thermostat has green light on and closet fan coil is running; started looking around and noticed condenser outside was not running. Have a home owners AHS service policy; someone will come tomorrow but I am wondering is there anything I could do to reset condenser. I tried to apply my knowledge of a/c to this problem but I don't need to create another problem. Thanks!!

I'd shut down the upstairs unit since your outside fan isn't running.

Did shut unit off but would it help if I turned on the fan mode of thermostat and also what could cause this. House built in 2005 carrier 1.5 ton unit Thanks. Anything I could reset??
