#6 is most common for a 100 amp service.

I'm trying to get at the NEC max. voltage across two bonded pieces of equip. (I guess within arm's reach).
If we go with #6 copper and 0.4vac max safe voltage, 10' of this conductor would be carrying 100A.
I may be on the right track! :thumbsup:
