Post brand model and serial # of furnace. Is it a high efficiency unit with plastic vent pipes or a lower eff one with a metal pipe to the chimney. High eff units have a maximum feet of pipe for the venting plus elbows so you need to consider that if extending the venting, plus it needs slope back to the furnace.
Reroute Exhaust - Any danger?
Hi,
Our exhaust pipe runs through a non load-bearing column in the house which we wish to remove. It is possible (and safe) to re-route the exhaust to another place, i.e to the side of the house?
