Thanks, that's what I meant UPC approval, and if there is anything else like that. The context of your question is kind of vague.
The obvious answer is most codes require fixtures to be stamped with a UPC approval...
Other than that, i'm not really sure what the intent behind your questioning is.
9.4 lpf ?i suspect that they'll need to meet the federal energy code as in water consumption
Thanks. And would that have to get tested somewhere? I don't know how it works. I'll eventually need a lawyer I guess, but I just want to learn as much as I can before paying big money.I suspect that they'll need to meet the federal energy code as in water consumption
Oh okay, thanks. You can Sell what ever you want, as long as you disclose that it may not meet government standards home depot does just that, now installing it is a different story for the purchaser.
Not sure about that. I read somewhere that it's a violation of Federal law to sell or even import any toilet that doesn't meet the water usage standard. I've also heard of people from the U.S. buying nonconforming toilets in Canada and not being allowed to bring them back across the border. You can Sell what ever you want, as long as you disclose that it may not meet government standards home depot does just that, now installing it is a different story for the purchaser.
I remember rumors of this when 1.6/gal started- truckloads were sneaking in from Canada:laughing:Not sure about that.
