What pitch would be suitable in order to install a 5 ft. half cicle window in the gable end. The width of the building on the gable is 12ft.
Looking for good balance and something that does not crowd the roof line

I don't think the issue would just be roof pitch. Placement of the window would also play a part. I wouldn't choose a particular roof pitch based on what looks good with the window.

Just doing some rough math, I think you have to have a minimum of a 6/12 just to fit that thing in there.
