I want to replace the carpeting in front of my front/back door. the carpet in back is flat (indoor/outdoor?)and the carpet in front is low-med pile (not shag) how do I go about doing this project. I have a basic idea on how to do it but I need step by step instructions. Especially how to install the skinny metal strip that goes between the carpet and tile or is there something else that is used.
