Hi,
I just bought a 1930's home and I need to make some upgrades, including replacing the plumbing. The waste stack is cast iron pipe that has cracked all the way through. It needs replaced from the slab up (and possible under). On the second floor, there is a bath. I want to add a second bath next to the existing one (and share a common wall for plumbing). I don't have a lot of $ to spend, so I want to add the second bath later. I also want to add a 1/2 on the first floor, but later.
Is it possible to add the second and half bath at a later date using the replaced waste stack? Anything that would make the later additions way more difficult than just adding them when the waste stack gets replaced? Thank you
