Hi everyone,
I am replacing an old White Rogers thermostat to a newer 2 pole Honeywell for electric baseboard heating only in a condo. From the wall, there is a red wire, a white wire, and 2 black wires connected to each other. Can someone advise if it is correct to connect the wall red to R1, and the white to T1 on the 2 pole, with leaving the black wires as is? Also, with only using the one side, would I need to cap the R2 and T2 or can they be left as they were when packaged?
Thank you for your help,
