I need to replace an old wooden door in a cinder block wall, but I"m not 100% how to go about it. The opening is 49 3/4" wide at the most narrow point and the height is 77 3/8" at it's lowest point. (I have pictures, but I can't get them off my phone.. hopefully I won't need them)

When I pulled the trim off, there's no buck attached to the block. The door jamb is about an inch thick and is attached right to the block. Given the measurements I provided above, is this a fairly standard opening, or an oddball size? If it is standard, what's the best way to go about ordering a door and replacing it? Thanks!

You have an odd ball size.
I'd be replacing it with a 36" wide solid prehung wood door and adding pressure treated bucks on the sides to shim it out and cut off the bottom of the door to fit.
A custom made door will cost at least double.

Thanks for the replies. I made a few calls and homedepot has a 42" door that will fit if I trim off the brick moulding at the top. I'm going to replace the door sometime this spring when it starts to warm up again.
