Replacing GFI

1105 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  frenchelectrican
I'm replacing a GFI outlet, as the original's reset button won't release. After I hook up all wires, the outlets work but the load doesn't travel to the next outlet.

Any ideas?

Thanks

All the GFCI are very specfic with line and load connections so you have to see which set is line and load that for both incomming and outgoing wires.

Make sure you have excat pairs when you look at the cables and it can not be crisscrossed otherwise the GFCI will lock out or not functing at all.

Merci,
Marc
