Hi, I hope I can get some help regarding replacement windows. My house was built in 1929 and remodeled in the 1950's. The house was upgraded and modernized for the most part with the exception of the windows. We have some cracked and non function windows that I know are letting drafts and cold air in. I'm looking for about 14 windows and as always quality and price are important. I appreciate any information in this area any one can give me.

Got a picture of what you have now?
Replacing old double hung wooden windowswith replacement windows in most cases is a DIY 101 job. Once you figure out how to do the first one the rest will take 1/2 the time.
If there's plans to make the house really maintaince free and your going to have the trim outside wraped with coil stock get that done first.

DO not go to a box store!! DO not call Sears!!
Unless your into sticker shock.
DO not go with Pella windows.
I buy all my windows from the local siding supplyer and pay about 1/2 what the other companys charge for the same windows.

Friend of mine does windows, I always hear him saying " that window is coming out from the inside" He has this thing about height over 40 '.

I'm in Parma too and I do windows. R u looking to do them yourself or want someone to install them. Alside has great vinyl replacement windows. I've installed them in my own home. It really depends on if u do them urself or want them installed and the type of window in the opening now.
