Moved into our 10 year old house in October and now eventually getting round to all the odd jobs that the PO kindly left.

In the guest bedroom there was no fan or motor in the housing, seems like a very small hole, 6.5" x 6.5" and only 2.5" to the back plate, seems like a vertical vent (5.25" total depth). The cover that was left on says Stelpro, so checked out the website and it appears all their fans are discontinued. Model is a SBF050.

Tried searching online for those fan dimensions and coming up blank, anyone any ideas? Obvious preference is to simply find a identical sized fan to plug in, don't really want to start having to cut ceilings etc.

Thanks

I suspect that there was a bracket mounted fan that was mounted in the round opening in the partitioin plate and a grill that inserted into those tabbed channels on opposing sides.

Something like the one linked below could work but may require some ingenuity in fastening it into the housing.
