I took down track lighting and replaced with fixture with 3 lights hanging down pendant. now new light is not working. The switch is a sliding dimmer switch it is connected to another sliding dimmer switch for another light in my kitchen. meaning both dimmer switches are connected to each other in box. as well there is 4 other sets of wires coming into box, all white wires are connected together and all black wires are connected together, there is one red wire coming into box also. I have not touched any wires at the switch or the fixture.
any ideas as to why the new fixture is not working?

I have checked and power is coming to fixture.

please help:mad:

It may just be your photo (or my eyesight), but I don't see a white neutral wire in the ceiling box.
You need to cut the white outer sheathing off back near the clamp and hopefully find the white wire.
(what were you trying to connect the white wire from the fixture to ?)

I have tested with multimeter and also tested fixture in another location all working fine.
i connected fixture this way
