Apologies, When I was younger I could do it myself. Only way is to remove and I'm not able to. Suffice it to say the newer models, as you probably know, have replacements that simply slip in where the broken wheels have been removed. These older ones cannot be removed that way. I understand that the frames might have to be removed from the glass.
Replace wheels on Older Patio sliding Glass Door
I have sliding glass patio doors from the mid 1980s and the wheels are shot. I have removed the door however the wheel assembly appears to not be removable. To replace with new doors is not an option. Can someone please explain how I can repair them? Thank you.
