Hi everyone I have to replace the rotted studs in the bathroom. The studs sit off the floor plate by 16th of an inch. Is this typical? Should I replace the studs the same way? I'm not sure if they're set up this way to accommodate the drywall to make it flush with the door jamb. Thanks.

Those don't look that bad. Why not just sister a 3 or 4 foot 2x to each bad one?
