I have a garage door with 4 side mounted springs. One is broke. Should I replace just one pair? Or do I need to replace all 4?

I would replace all of them at the same time. If one has broken, the others have had the same amount of wear. Also, newer springs tend to be tighter and pull at different rates.

If you don't have them now, install the safety wire as well. If your spring explodes, it will keep the pieces from flying all over the place.
