We just had a sump failure and the only damage was to carpet as a result of water coming through hairline cracks of basement floor. Does it pay to fix? I hate to ask but is this a radon issue?

Not ver likely . Radio if it is an issue will get in cracks our not. Water in under my basement floor and the fact that if my sump pump fails, I will have water. Hence the generator and also my basement is bare concrete, no carport or tile
