My home was build by Drees and they used plastic beads at the joints (vaulted ceilings 45 degree joint) instead of drywall tape and in places this is coming loose leaving a long horizontal line either at the bottom or top. You can push on this plastic material and it is evident that it is come loose from the drywall.

What is the best way to resecure this beading/joint material and prevent this from happening again in the future?

Not a mobile home - it is a slab foundation stick build home. Do you want a picture of the crack? It's a crack. I don't have any of the corner buld exposed at this point in time...

You should be able to staple them back in place then do just some touch up.

if it is only stapled on, you can expect further cracking. I would pull off the bead and replace in with a vinyl composite tape. Straight-flex

The way I've been installing that stuff is sticking it in place with spray on contact cement and then bedding the mud flange with hot mud for the first coat.

you should use spray glue, staple it, and use hot mud for atleast the first coat. but if you want to repair it and never have a problem again i agree with drywallfinisher and pull it off and replace it. I would pull it off, do a prefill with hot mud. then i would apply ultra flex 325 and 450 for larger nastier corners.
