Quick question for all you professionals out there..
I'm in the middle of a project in my basement, which involves me re-pointing and re-parging part of the cinder block walls. In some areas the parge is crumbling, while other areas are not too bad... My question is, Do i NEED to remove all the old parge on there beforehand? Or is that just a recommendation?
we'd remove it all as it will fall off on its own at some time,,, realize that's time & $ but
you don't need this to become an annual maintenance item either
