I have been doing some drywall touch-ups around the house-(built in 1965). The walls have an original sand texture. After priming the touch-ups, I put some texture in the paint so it blends with the walls.
Then I got to thinking.....Would it be O.K. , next time I paint the walls, to
throw some sand texture in the paint to refresh the texture?
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Texure on top of texture can be tough to make look even. If the texture looks fine, then juat plain ole' pint is the way to go.
