I am getting rid of my tub in the master bath and turning it into a large shower. Right now I have a stall shower with along with the tub. Since I am turning 2 drains, as well as 2 separate dry vents, into 1 drain and 1 vent, I'm wondering what to do with the extra vent.
Should I plumb it in parallel with the dry vent I plan on using, or can I just get away with capping the extra dry vent in the basement?
The 2 are eventually tied together in the attic and vented through a single vent in the roof (actually, 3 are tied together if you include the toilet dry vent).
