Hi! I am at a loss. I have a porch that I believe is made of concrete with a plaster mix overtop of it. It might be all concrete. The house is around 100 yrs old. The paint is chipping and just gross looking now. I was taking a scrapper and removing it to prepare to repaint. But whatever the material is keeps crumbling. I was told I could use a sand blaster to remove the paint but I'm afraid it would decimate the porch.. attached is part of the column.... any suggestions? Thank you for your time.
