What do you mean by "dried mortar"? Are you referring to the mud pan in total?

Just the mortar used to adhere the tiles that is spread on the concrete

You can use a Toothed Bush Hammer for a small job like a shower floor.

What he said. How big is the shower? Cold Chisel, hammer, mask, and some glasses will do the trick too.

IF it is big, then an SDS hammer with an angled flat blade will make quick work of it. Be careful not to damage the pack. It is not set concrete, but is a tightly packed material and will chip and gouge really fast.
