I've never seen one on this site.
Willing to use post to support it all the way to the ground?

The window is about 5 feet wide so I know I can find a set of doors to match the width.

My thinking is to take out the window, remove the trim, remove the drywall and insulation around the window, cut out the bottom sill from the window, cut the siding out to match where the framing is, add extra framing where needed, then install the doors. Piece of cake! Ha-ha

Well that's wish full thinking from someone that sounds like they have never done this before.
Going to be a whole lot more then your thinking.
In your area that decks going to need to be at least 6" below the inside floor.
Going to need permits.
What type siding you have now is a big factor as mentioned.
Still have no pictures of the outside.
Willing to spend at least $1000.00 as a bare minimum for a tiny deck?

If I've done this before I obviously wouldn't have asked about it on a diy forum...

If you don't have anything intellectual to bring to the table, then just stay off the internet.

Anyway, I love in Parker Colorado. I have the same siding as the house in the picture, horizontal lap siding.

As for the balcony, it's basically just a section of metal that stretches across the opening. There won't be any room to walk out on it. The side was thinking that it would be nice to open up the doors on the warm breezy nights in the summer.

I would take pics of the outside but it's snowing right now.
