In the process of removing the built in pantry. When I opened the first wall I found there were vents in the floor and ceiling. The basement below is finished and the master is above. The pantry is located in the middle of the house. Not sure of the purpose of the vents but I would like to cover and install cabinets. Anyone know if there would be an issue to close the openings? The pantry is original to the house which was built in 2005
Thanks. I checked out upstairs and it is the return for the master. This wall stays. I don't want to go to the hassle of relocating. I'm replacing the ugly pantry with a cabinet with pull out shelves and a desk area.
