I have two deck nails that I got in about 3/4 of the way before the square heads got stripped. I tried to press them in but no go. Now I have the screws sticking out about a quarter inch. I really need to get them out somehow. Any advice on how I can do this?

I can see that you meant to say "Screws", not nails.

As stated already = use vise grips to reverse-turn them out.

In the future - if you feel that a screw is starting to trip, stop immediately, and back it out. Throw the screw away and start with a new one.

Good Luck on the project.

I have heard some people have used wax or soap on the screws (not on the screw head) to lubricate their entry into the wood. I don't know if that is a good idea or not.
