Anyone have any good inexpensive ways to remove excessive dust build up on cement basement floors.

My basement floor is unfinished, un level and very old and I wanted to remove the excess dust before considering applying self leveling cement to even it out.

Ayuh,..... A garden hose with a necked down power nozzle,....

Start at the hi-points, 'n work to the drain,...

A squeegee, broom or shovel to direct larger collections,....

I ran a floor machine for an entire summer, circular and they do everything from sanding floors to scrubbing them. Once you practice for a minute they behave themselves. Benefit is a limited amount of water which can easily be mopped up. They have different pads so ask at the rental shop which to use.
