At this stage I want to ask how I should remove the shower surrounds. It is nailed to bare studs and has drywall go over the lip. The bottom lip covers the bathtub. I am thinking to cut the drywall maybe 6 inches out from the surround and then remove the surround. I would install the same type of surround and then replace the drywall.
Or should I just remove the drywall all the way to the next seam? Thanks
