Hi all.

Hoping to pick some brains. A recent wind storm took one of my Certainteed cement board pieces off. It took the entire 12 food piece. My problem is that as it ripped off, it left not only nails under the plank above, but also some material from the old plank. Think volcano with a nail as the crater. This prevents the new plank from sliding in under the existing plank. At present the only way I can see to get these out is with my dremel took, a small chisel or some combination. Once the nail is exposed I can just pry or cut it off.

So, any suggestions? I know I cannot be the first one to encounter this problem. Sincerely appreciate any ideas. I am down to one last N95 mask so I want to make it good!

I have used my Multimaster and a carbide/titanium blade (fine teeth for metal) to get behind and cut the nails. You have to cut behind the scrap to cut the blind nails then that scrap will fall out.
