Took out a non-load bearing partition wall and wish to replace partial 13 inch limestone tiles with some spare full ones. I prefer to reuse the partial tiles elsewhere.

After removing the 1/16 inch grout, what is the best way of taking out the limestone tiles without breaking them apart.

Thanks,

I think it would be easier to extend the wood floor to the tile, instead of the other way around. Pulling up those tiles is one thing, trying to pull them up with the idea of saving them.......I don't think sooooo:no:

Hi folks,

I actually took out 6 or 7 of those 13 X 13 tiles. Used a cold chisel and it took 5+ hrs. Thought the rest of the floor was going to separate from the lath. Then used a grinder to take out the mesh and mud. A lot of work for a small area.
