I have an outdoor infra red heater that is elevated. The outlet is elevated as well. What I am ideally looking for is a remote control wireless outlet receiver to control it. I found one at Westek, but it has a max of 1000 watts. I need 1200 or higher. First of all am I safe to use the 1000 watt max receiver? If not is anyone aware of one that can handle the higher voltage. I am also willing to use chain operated but I seriously doubt there is one that could handle that wattage. Please let me know!

This one is rated 15a, 1875w. A normal household 15a circuit.

Never use something that is under-rated. They have a max limit for a reason.
