My current service is setup as follows: Power Co -->Meter and 200A Outdoor thru-lug box --> 25 feet svc cable --> 200Amp interior panel.
My new location for the 200A service is an additional 25 feet away. Would it be ok to put an outdoor thru-lug box under the house to act as a junction box and add another 25 feet of svc cable and ground to the run?
The end result would be Power Co -->Meter and 200A Outdoor thru-lug box --> 25 feet svc cable --> 200A Outdoor thru-lug box --> 25 feet svc cable -->Interior 200A service panel?
I'll keep all cable enclosed in conduit and tied up neatly to the underside of the house.
Any other suggestions? I'm just trying to avoid having to re-dig that 24" deep service trench to the house from the pole if I can.
Thanks
