Ok, I just bought a home and am having the locks changed.
Presently I have 2 different locks, but am thinking of just getting one lock so I have just one key.
Thoughts?
And some might disagree, but I would include the deadbolts in that mix if you are going to have them. I'm all for home security, but don't make it any more difficult on yourself than necessary.
You can buy deadbolt locks that take the same key at home centers, just look for the ID number on the bottom of the box, and find two or more that match. You can also buy Kwikset Smartkeys which you can rekey yourself.
