Are they any issues with running refrigerant lines through a crawl space?
I am replacing two systems, one for each level of the house. The utility closets are located basically in the center of the house. One of the old lines runs through the walls (when the house was last remodeled) and the other which runs up the exterior side of the house into the attic and then down. I'd like to run all the lines through the crawl space to avoid tearing up interior walls and not running insulated lines up the side of the house which is not attractive.
I assume they should not be laying on the dirt and something holding them to the bottom side of the floor joists.
