Reduce height of concrete hearth

I'm replacing my tiled hearth with a marble slab. After removing the tile, the underlying concrete still sticks up above the surrounding finished wood flood by about 1/8". What's the best way to remove this 1/8" of concrete? An angle grinder? (Best, in this case, would mean minimal dust and work.) The marble slab will extend slightly onto the wood and I don't want to see a gap between the wood and the bottom of the marble. I don't want to add any trim to cover the gap. The concrete is about 6" thick.

minimal dust would be chipping gun, bushing tool, & decent vac ( not a apron/vest store special - rent a GOOD vac ) might need to finish w/4" grinder w/dust muzzle shroud depending on what skills you have
