Thank you, question still

Thank you for the reply.

just to make sure, right now the drain and vent pipe are the same, so by tapping my new pipe underfloor into existing vertical pipe would I be ok ?

Not usre if Im clear, but in other word, I would only need to have 1 pipe to connect that do the drain and vent at same time right ? (see image, would that be correct)

Also, should I create a little slope, I have about 6feet to connect to the old drain pipe, how much slope you recommend for 6 feet lenght ?

Thank you

Thanks again !!

Thanks again for the reply.

Just for my knowledge, why it would not work ? From what I see, it will be exactly like the original installation, only with diferrence that there will now be a 6 feet horizontal pipe instead of 1 feet connecting with a "Y" into existing drain pipe.

Is it beacause the vent pipe air flow need to be higher than the drain ? Just trying to understand why it wont work :)
Thank you !!

Ok, got your point about the venting can, yes make sense.

My problem is that I have a second floor on top is all finish and closed, and going to atics can be not easy job and messy. I have also a basement under and have fulle access to pipes there.

In this case, do you think the other option of going trought joins and 90 corner to connect to existing pipe would be an option ?

If this is not an option, I will do as you say. Thank you again so much for taking the time to reply.
