Thinking about hiring a copper re-pipe job and then replacing the tub myself, wondering how I can find out where the pipes enter the house?
I can see the water meter for instance, and if the pipes ran straight (on a 90 degree from the city line,) then they must make a left turn beacuse there's about four feet offset, I'd just like to have some idea before calling for bids. I guess I could just start digging, Would the city permit dept have drawings?
