re: ge silicone 2 other uses

Hello,
I am draftproofing all of my windows by using GE silicone 2 window and door. I also have a leftover tube of clear GE silicone 2 for kitchens and baths, expiry in July. I wanted to know if it was okay to use the kitchen and bath silicone for my windows, or is the product not suitable becuase of slight differences.

I wonder if they are both is the exact same product with different packaging

I 've used them interchangeably. You can ask GE for a definitive answer.

1 needs backer rod/bondbreaker & the other doesn't,,, there are differences in cohesion but not adhesion,,, ck their w/site
