I was wondering if it is approved to re-direct a vent stack to the back of my house. I am having a new roof put on and would like my main vent stack to be behind the peak of the house so it could not be seen from the front. I would re-direct it inside of the attic and then up and out. Old stack is 2 inch I.D., is this still permisable for new? Also, would I go with the standard of 1/4 inch fall per foot to direct any rainwater back to the house or could the fall be less?
