So 3 year old RCA 42" LED tv just died. We have it mounted on a wall and there is a surge protector on the outlet. It just happened all of a sudden. There is power at the receptacle and the sound bar is working just fine.
I have fixed a tube tv in the past by replacing a fuse in it but do these thin panel tvs have fuses as well?
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated on this repair.

Probably the power supply. You might try the home entertainment subforum or Google your RCA model # and "troubleshooting". You'll find videos on YouTube also

RCA is just a marketing brand today. Usually used on low grade electronics. It could be a fuse but more likely a failed power supply etc. I think you will find the internal circuitry is on a single circuit board so it may not be replaceable.

RCA, Sunbeam, Packard-Bell, Polaroid...there are dozens of formerly respectable US "brand names" that have been sold to Asian companies over the years.

The first thing to check would be,
The power supply board.
But unless you have some knowledge,
About electronics ? Then it is,
most likely not economical to repair !
Unlikely it is just a fuse.
