Our house is on a raised foundation and has drainage problems which is causing our new hardwood flooring to "cup" in several locations. What would be the long-term fix for this problem. A French drain?

I'm a little confused by the post. How does a house on a raised foundation(one above gorund level) have issues with water?
Is the floor in the basement?
Is the ground graded properly? That would be away from the house.
Are the leaders extended away from the house?
