I have two different heating techs that are recommending two different sizes of a mixing valve for my radiant floor heat. One says 3/4" the other says 1 1/4". I need to know which is the best option/correct. The house is new construction. The first floor has 5 loops of 1/2" PEX in concrete fed from 1 1/4" manifolds. The 2d floor will be heated with baseboard. One tech says 3/4" will cause problems, the other says "trust me" 3/4" is all you need. Appreciate any in put from those with experience with this type of set up.
